RSS feeds are often only supported by recent browsers. Check your browser’s help to determine whether your browser supports RSS feeds. Make sure that you have installed the latest version and updates for your browser.

In some browsers, such as Internet Explorer 7,and  8 when you visit a web page, the Feeds button (orange icon) changes color, so you know that feeds are available. Click the Feeds button, and then click the feed you want to see. To get content automatically, subscribe to a feed.

In Firefox 3 and 3.5 add a live bookmark when you see the orange rss Icon. When you return to the bookmark you will see when the feed has new content. Here’s what the official firefox site says about RSS feeds.

You can read feeds using an online Web service, a client-side feed reader or by creating a Firefox Live Bookmark. So there’s no need to comb the Web for the latest news and updates. See the latest headlines in the toolbar or menu and go directly to the articles that catch your eye. Note these changes to this blog.  The index tab will contain the chapters from Lee Koonin’s autobiography.  The tab that says chapter contains the current blog content.
